Specialties For Various Processing Industries For Our Procurement Function We Are Looking For A Procurement Manager (m/f) In This Role You Will Be Responsible For All Procurement Activities Of Indirects (materials And Services) And Small Spend Directs For The Bergkamen Manufacturing Plant (approx $40-50mm Annual Spend) And Operational Procurement Of Key Raw Materials (approx $50-60mm) You Will Lead The Procurement Team (3 Direct Reports) Manage Key Suppliers Execute Supply Agreements And Drive Savings And Cost Avoidance Initiatives That Enable Competitive Advantage For This Position You Will Report Directly Into The Director Indirects And Operational Procurement Emea With A Strong Dotted Line To The Local Site Manager Your Primary Responsibilities: Develop And Implement Portfolio Sourcing Strategies For Key Indirect Materials & Services Categories Including Supplier Segmentation Negotiation For Best Total Cost Of Ownership Supplier Managed Inventories Inventory Reduction Programs Improvement Of The P2p Process Continuity Of Supply Supplier Balance Continuous Improvement And Procurement / Engineering Collaboration As Part Of This You Will Negotiate Supply Agreements That Leverage Global Spend Provide Price And Supply Protection Drive A Lower Total Cost Of Ownership And Include Preferred Terms / Conditions In Close Alignment With Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager(s) You And Your Team Will Be Responsible For All Operational Procurement Activities In Relation To All Key Direct Raw-materials And You Will Be Responsible For All Procurement Activities For The Supporting Direct Materials Liaise With Plant Management With Regards To Capital Spend And Indirect Materials & Services Spend Determine Vendor Requirements And Certifications Select Approve Develop And Manage Strategic Suppliers To Meet Indirects Cost And Performance Goals Establish A Strong Network And Foster Collaboration With Suppliers Key Stakeholders And Category Team Members Based In Other Manufacturing Locations Implement A Rigorous And Disciplined Process For Managing The Supply Base Including Leading Periodic Business Reviews Monitoring And Managing Supplier Performance (quality Cost Delivery Technology Service And Leadership) Managing Supplier Relationships Performing Root Cause Analysis And Resolution Developing And Monitoring Supplier Improvement Plans Liaise And Work With Your Counterparts Based In Other Manufacturing Locations Throughout Europe To Ensure Leveraged Cost Savings Targets For Indirects Categories: Capital & Mro Services & Energy Your Profile: University Or Bachelor´s Degree In Business Engineering Or Supply Chain Management Respectively An Equivalent Degree Minimum 3 Years Of Relevant Experience In Commodity Management Strategic Sourcing Indirects Spend Management Or Supply Chain Role(s) Ideally For A Process Based Global Manufacturing Company Fluent In German And English Ability To Develop High-impact Sourcing Strategies Analytical
